Please note that all distant projects fine art prints and products are printed on demand. Because of this, all sales are final, non-returnable and non-refundable. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Shipping information
All artwork is printed (and framed if need be) on demand and typically ships within 3-4 weeks from the date of sale.
Shipments to the Uk and within the EU are not subject to import duties or taxes. Elsewhere, local taxes may apply, and these will be collected at checkout.
Shipments to countries outside the EU and UK may be subject to additional customs fees or taxes. As the buyer, you are responsible for any applicable duties or taxes. If applicable, our shipping partner will notify you directly and collect payment. please note we do not accept returns due to unexpected customs fees.
Notes on print and framing
Prints are currently supplied unframed as standard.
Framing is offered as a special order. Four styles of frame moulding are offered: open grain and matte finishes in both black and white. If you have a specific request, additional options can be sourced - please contact the studio.

By default, prints are window mounted to keep the artwork away from the glass, creating a clean border that enhances your image. Each piece is mounted against a white backing board, but but again if you have a particular request get in touch.
For glazing, we use optical acrylic, which provides the clarity of glass while being significantly lighter and more durable.

To ensure secure and balanced hanging, we use low-stretch hanging cord for smaller frames and sturdy strap hooks for larger, heavier pieces. Additionally, cork spacers are placed on the bottom corners of the frame to create a slight gap between the artwork and the wall. This allows for proper airflow, preventing moisture buildup and helping to preserve your artwork over time.
Damaged or
incorrect orders
Please inspect your order upon receipt. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us immediately so we can assess the issue and take appropriate action.
Any damaged photographic prints are eligible for replacement. We require you to return the damaged or incorrect items to our studio for a replacement. please contact the studio on distantprojects@icloud.com to begin the process.
Returns process
To initiate a return due to a faulty or damaged print, contact us at distantprojects@icloud.com within 30 days of receiving your order. Please provide a written explanation and photo documentation of the damages.
We cannot accept return requests after 30 days. Once your return is accepted, we’ll provide a shipping label and instructions on how to send the item back. Items sent without prior return authorization will not be accepted.

Incorrect or undeliverable addresses
If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, additional shipping fees and/or international taxes will apply for reshipment. To avoid this, please ensure that your shipping address is correct at the time of purchase.
We are not responsible for any shipping charges, additional fees, or replacement items resulting from an incorrect address entered during checkout.
Customs fees
Please be aware that we will not accept returns or offer refunds due to customs duties or taxes being applied.
